TIMELINE TERRORISM

Timeline terrorism tells the story of the rise of terrorism in middle east and Afghanistan.

• Russia invades Afghanistan saying it intends to boost the failing Afghan economy.
• Afghanistan relents. Mujahedeen's stand up against Russia.
• USA and Russia already battling cold war amongst each other during the time.
• USA sees the opportunity to intervene, joins hand with ISI (Pakistani Intelligence), funds creation of Taliban.
• Osama Bin Laden is born as a result of the cold war.
• Russia ultimately goes down, lose heavily.
• Loss is so severe that Russia is disintegrated into several parts.
• USA becomes the sole superpower in the world.
• In 1990 Saudi Arabia's King Fahd, worried about a possible invasion by Iraq, asked the United States and its allies to station troops that would defend Saudi soil.
• United States comply, eager to protect its interests in the oil producing nation.
• Osama turns rebellion. His objective is to rule out all the US troops from Arab world.
• 9/11 happened. US in mourning.
• USA invades Afghanistan (Fight against terror) and Iraq (Saddam Hussein's unjust ruling and capturing of Kuwait)
• ISIS is born as a part of Al Qaeda. Later disintegrates in '06.
• US & NATO troops move out of Afghanistan.
• ISIS the new terrorist group superpower. Captures parts of Iraq, Syria, Jordan.

The fight amongst ISLAM is a much bigger threat than the terrorism that the whole world fears for. Regional powers like the Saudi Arabia, Iraqi government, Iran apart from Western powers all played a very important role in the emergence of ISIS and Al Qaeda from a regional threat to a global one. Misrule and the disputes amongst the Shia and Sunni community fueled the rise of terrorism. Sunni rule in the 2000s in Iraq created a big loophole in the democratic process of governing. Shia's were targeted unfairly by the ruling government.

ISIS a shia terror group takes advantage of this.
Killings, Rape, Beheading, Torture, Extremism of other sorts rise. More than 5000 Yazidi women have been raped , many of them are young girls.  Few of them have committed suicides.

Women sold. Journalists beheaded. Small kids trained, with guns and not with pens.

So, all this. At what and who's expense? Who is right and who is wrong? What is the exact ground zero situation in Iraq & Afghanistan? Will women live in peace? Will children be able to read & write? Will Iraq see a new dawn?

All these questions are quite sensible. The vested interests of the two global superpowers lead to the cold war and what we are seeing from our very own eyes' is its effect.
Terror was always very much a part of our history. Terrorists grew and became extremists only after the gulf war had ended. Osama Bin Laden was the son of the wealthiest construction company owner in Saudi Arabia. He joined his dad's business. His intention was never to harm individuals, at first due to his enormous wealth he funded the insurgents against the Russian invasion. This is how he was born. From there on terrorism spread like forest fire. WITHOUT PRINCIPLES'.

This is not a justification. In fact there can be none. What is happening in the middle east and other parts of the world cannot be justified. But, before looking and seeing the news and accepting it blindly one should always go down the memory lanes and read the history behind it.

If regional disputes cannot be dealt with within the regions, those disputes will last FOREVER.

Its similar to an individual, One's problems cannot be solved by somebody else.
